We’re looking for a financial writer to join Bulletin’s team in Nottingham – someone who can tackle complex issues and deliver our trademark clarity and spark.
You will provide high-quality and insightful content on complex financial issues. You will have the confidence and knowledge to work with senior asset managers and marketing professionals at some of the biggest investment houses in the world.
Writing assignments may include thought-leadership articles and white papers on investments, educational guides for financial products, website content, brochures and marketing materials for financial companies and analysis and comment pieces on financial news.
You will:
– write to an exceptionally high standard – coherently, concisely and creatively
– pay serious attention to accuracy
– demonstrate an interest in the investment industry
– have effective research, analytical and numerical skills
– be comfortable pitching ideas to journalists and dealing with media enquiries
Experience or understanding of financial markets, the asset management industry, economics, financial journalism and PR/communication strategies are an advantage. A hunger for learning and self-improvement are essential pre-requisites of the job.
Good interpersonal and communication skills are also necessary to maintain great relationships with clients. You should be happy working under your own steam but also keen to be part of a strong team.
Salary level dependent on experience.
